Mad Scientist Productions was started in 2009 and since its fairly simple beginnings providing science parties, it has expanded to provide a variety of science education services including:
- Science parties
- School activities
- OHSC activities
- Home school activities
About the Mad Scientist
While not being completely mad nor currently working as a scientist, Peter has worked several large laboratories (and a couple of small ones) testing everything from soil and plants, concrete, sewage and food. Peter has worked in children’s science education for around 10 years for CSIRO Education where he has presented hundreds of hands on activities at schools, libraries, and as part of holiday and science club activities.
Qualification wise Peter has a rather odd combination of Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates in fields such as Parasitology, Astronomy, Food Science and Technology, Education (both school and vocational) which is useful in presenting a wide variety of programs.
